Nivada Grenchen Depthomatic Vintage SUPER COMPRESSOR  Ref. 57023  1968

The world's first supercompressor diving watch with a depth gauge Nivada Grenchen Depthomatic from 1968 with the ability to install a tab - a Bourdon tube to display the depth of the dive.
Automobile plant. Movement ETA 2472. Very cool vintage watch. This watch was one of a select few (Rolex, Omega, Blancpain) watches that were aboard the legendary "Calypso" Jacques-Yves Cousteau, worn by the team's chief diver Bernard Delemotte, most famously photographed in the last photo of him on the arm of the Nivada Depthomatic. By the way, this photo has a wonderful story. The watch is in excellent condition, it definitely won’t be cheaper, it’s a historical watch, the price can only go up, don’t miss your chance. There is a special chic about these watches - when you see them on the hand of your interlocutor, it is very difficult to stop thinking about them and even more difficult not to ask about them.
