H.Moser watch vintage Silver case
The watch is running. It hasn't been cleaned (it's not difficult with silver) and has a patina. We will provide this pleasure to the new owner.
A very rare example because it was during these years that the company had great difficulties related to geopolitics.
In 1868, H. Moser, together with the American Florentino Ariosto Jones, created a new watch company, the International Watch Company, or IWC for short, which, having purchased modern machines, along with other Swiss companies - Omega and Longines - became a pioneer of industrial watch production in Switzerland. H. Moser's personal contribution to the creation of the IWC factory was the construction of an energy station on the river, which transmitted mechanical (not yet electrical!) energy from the river to the factory machines.
The IWC company still exists today, belongs to the German Mannesmann, and is one of the leaders in the Swiss watch industry.
Since 2005, the Hy Moser & Cie manufactory has been revived in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, and produces interesting luxury watches with special functions. What is noteworthy is that the basic style and shapes of the mechanisms have been preserved from the original samples of vintage mechanisms Moser.
